A Jurassic Classic
When I was a kid, I remember mom & dad playing cards until the wee hours on weekends with my aunt & uncle. I would be curled up on the couch with my blanket, watching TV and munching on pizza and chips. (What a life!) One such Saturday night found the late show running DINOSAURUS and, at the time, I was convinced I was watching the greatest monster movie of all time. (Hey, I was 5, my movie viewing was limited at that point.) Then, when JURASSIC PARK came out, GoodTimes released this as a bargain video. Quality was so-so, but the film was as much fun as I remembered it (even if it no longer held "Greatest Movie of All Time" status). Now, Image offers this film as a great letterboxed DVD, and the film looks better than ever. Dinosaurs, a caveman, a rotten villain you just KNOW is gonna get his, and a beautiful redhead...what's not to like! This is the kind of film that drive-ins and childhood were invented for!
