What happened to Julio?

Anyone know what happened to Alan Roberts who played Julio, after 1962?

he retired from film
but in 2008 he died

You know, if you click an actor's name in the cast listing, it'll take you to a little page with lots of info about them, including if they died or not. I knew what happened to Alan Roberts a few seconds after coming here, and you had to wait two years to know lol.

As there wasn't any data on Alan's later life when I originally posted the question three years before your sarky comment I do not see the need for such vitriolic sarcasm. If I hadn't clicked on the actor's name or the film title then I couldn't have got through to any of the Discussion Forums.

In fact when I posted the question Alan was still alive but there was no information about him after his last role in the 1965 episode of Rawhide. Kind of makes your comment somewhat puerile.

He died? That's sad, he was just a little kid.

I just looked him up, planning to offer him a "mature" role in the sequel; ALAS! he died two years ago.
Think about Julio all grown up leading a team of misfits to recover the bones of the monsters in the cave and in the Quicksand and in deep water off the island's cliff. Of course both monsters are revived and the cycle begins all over again!
