Harp music in the background

I am very fascinated by the harp music that is played on three different occasions in the movie. The first time it is played when puckle and the sailor are standing near a cliff and the sailor finally manages to entice puckle to join the navy, the second time is when puckle gets on the navy ship for the first time and does not receive the same happy treatment that he originally got from the same man. The final time it is played is when puckle lands on the beach from being in outer space with a beautiful young girl. I just adore that music so much and I have searched everywhere online to find out what it is called but no success. What is the name of that tune? Please help!!

The music is traditional Hawaiian music. I believe it is being played on a steel guitar rather than a harp. One often hears such music in films about the South Pacific, South Pacific for example.
The only words I have ever heard put to the song is something like "Aloha Oy, aloha oy..."
