What happened to Yvonne Monlaur

Does anyone know what happened to Yvonne Monlaur? She was such a beautiful and charismatic young woman in this film. IMDb lists her last film in 1967.

Not sure movie wise....but I just met her in a horror convention in nj

She is still alive - she is only 66 or 67. She has not done any movies or television appearances since the late 1960's.

Yvoonne Monlaur retired from films in the late 1960's. Recently, she has been appearing at horror conventions to talk about her films and sign autographs. I hope this helps. John Tracy

She retired shortly after missing the role of Domino in 1965's James Bond thriller THUNDERBALL, played by Claudine Auger (Yvonne would have been terrific!) She is absolutely thrilled to be a grandmother, and is virtually unrecognizable today. I will always remember her from CIRCUS OF HORRORS, THE BRIDES OF DRACULA, and THE TERROR OF THE TONGS. A brief but memorable heyday, with such beautiful eyes.

She is absolutely stunning in this movie. Her hair, full soft lips, complexion, dreamy eyes, fantastic figure and that sexy accent= one hot gal!

In this film she was perhaps most ravishing of all Hammer beauties!

She is beautiful like women can be only in vintage movies, in that lush old color/lighting and in those 19th century costumes. Richly red hair, almost luminous fair skin, those features... Old Hammer had many stunningly beautiful heroines - Hazel Court, Eunice Gayson, Yvonne Furneaux, Dawn Addams... Ditto to Debra Paget in AIP classic The Haunted Palace and Barbara Shelley in 1958 Blood of the vampire.

She seemed so nice, innocent, and classy as well. You couldn't help but like the character and didn't want her to be a victim of the vampire.
