Line of dialogue

Although I've watched this film many times over the years, there is always one line of dialogue I can never catch.

In the scene where Gina's coffin is being stored in the stable, and the stableman is telling Marianne about the horse brasses, he says that one of them reminds him of "springtime in the [what?]". It sounds like pushire. Can anyone help ID this word?

Many thanks.

He said Prussia, which is what Russia was called a long time ago. Love this movie!

Allow me to correct you on this one: Prussia is not an old name for Russia; rather, it is a region in northern Germany and Poland and used to be one of the largest kingdoms in central Europe. It united with several other countries to form the German Empire in 1871.
