she falls deeply in love with him.

He was just like so many other sleazy french men out there and he was just so so creepy. I mean the scene in the restarant is so bizarre.
To be honest the whole film made for one of the most uncomfortable viewing experiences ever for me.
I could see what Chabrol was trying to do but it wont be a repeat watch for me!

I saw it coming. He seemed like such a creep. I don't know how you could find some random guy stalking you romantic. Especially that close up of him when they were at the zoo & the wacky music blaring -- yikes!
