Mine is Sinister Cinema...it wasn't the best but playing it on the BluRay player kind of made it better, somehow. Hope that helps!

The Netflix picture quality is fairly good, but the picture jerks every few seconds, making it unwatchable.

Recently a 4-Feature DVD came our for $5.00 on Amazon which included The Man from Planet X, The Time Travelers, Angry Red Planet, and Beyond the Time Barrier. The picture quality is very good on all four movies is very good -- except that the picture is so dark they are difficult to watch.

The only one of the four features that isn't flawed in this way is, fortunately, Beyond the Time Barrier. It is a bit dark, but easily correctable with the brightness control on your TV. I highly recommend this $5.00 DVD.

I got that set and I agree that the picture looks a little dark on the films, though nothing terrible.

But the key thing is that both Beyond the Time Barrier and the superior The Time Travelers receive their first legitimate DVD releases on this disc. (Each has been available on DVD-R, from Sinister Cinema and Sci-Fi Station, respectively.) Overall, a good collection.

The copy I've got (erm downloaded) it isn't jerky, but the contrast is terrible.

So from what read above I've got agree there seems no copies struck from the original negative. So it seems all available 'copies' are a copy of a copy - even Blu-Ray.

I'm a sucker for for time travel movie as much as this film is laden with dialogue pointlessly, I still give it 6+ of 10.
