Was 'Patcher' the guy in the leather jacket?
I see in the cast list that Chris Robinson played the character, Patcher. Was he the young hood in the leather jacket? The one who was involved in the warehouse robbery?

I just watched Because They're Young on TCM - I have not seen it since it was originally released. I thought it held up pretty well and was disappointed that Chris Robinson didn't get billing in the end as his character was pivotal to the film.

That was odd. I also watched it again this afternoon. I just love it. It's one of my favorite teen movies of that era. So many great actors and actresses I remember from my youth, and of course, there's Dick!
