El Analfabeto
I love that bit where Cantinflas mispronounces "mathematics" as "mastematicas".
Also, Lilia Prado is a good actress. She was a morally corrupt vamp in 'La Vida No Vale Nada' and she's was a nice, girl next door in 'El Analfabeto'.
What about when Cantinflas mentions "No se leer por falta de agricultura e ignorancia".
Lovely film. BTW I'm agree about Lilia Prado, she could portray perfectly a "comehombres" (maneater) as in Buñuel's film "Subida al cielo" (and loads of movies more), but also a good natured lady as in "El analfabeto".
By far, this is my favorite of Cantinflas' films...
