sharetitle trumps this, odd how john the baptist made it into the dialogue, the only time i've heard him mentioned in mainstream except an old rock n roll tune, of course this isn't mainstream by today's standard, i only got to see it because i had tcm which used to air movies from around the 1950's 24/7, how about that... then after years (previously went under tnt) my version of the tcm channel started to air all different kind of more modern movies from a variety of countries before the channel got shut down completely in my part of the world, i had pretty much stopped watching by then anyway, tcm is partly short for classic movies, okey, now indeed i get mainstream, movies made after around 2000 with huge names, though at least occasionally an 80's flick... it's so funny how robert wagner has kept the same exact hair and acting style throughout his career, he pretty much looks like this in "austin powers" like half a century later, as well as movies earlier than this, i first saw him in austin powers and was so surprised how long he had been around coming across really old movies, like one of those earlier versions of the titanic story, this is obviously a flick aimed for the youth of the time, my favorite and most moving part of this was wagner's (playing a complete honky) unlikely friendship with the older jazz singing woman. i'm surprised how deserted this board is considering all the iconic hollywood stars, several i didn't know had been around this long, movie does include some uncomfortable scenes though which makes me reluctant to check it out again, this is after all a 1960's piece and movies had just started to get out of hand.
