Is this the best Korean movie? Most only know of oldboy which though entertaining, is not up to the level to be considered a great movie. I thought sympathy for vengence was a much better movie than Oldboy but yet Oldboy is more highly rated. I guess it's a matter of exposure
shareI really did try to watch it, but had to shut it down after 20 minutes. The film was so under-exposed I couldn't see half the frames, and many frames were missing/damaged beyond repair and the flicker was giving me a headache. Add to that, the absurd subtitles which were penned in (literally) and then new ones were electronically generated in yellow over the old subtitles. What a shame.
