Why does the ghost sound like the Cowardly Lion?

Perhaps it's because " The Wicked Witch of the West " was currently living in the house LOL ( and some of the ghosts sounded like TWWOTW too lol ) . It's most interesting that legendary actress Margaret Hamilton played character Elaine Zacharides ( the housekeeper ) and that certain members of the family kept on referring to her " as a witch ? " . Although MH didn't have a huge speaking role in this movie ( except during the seance scene ) she was still really good in it just the same as she was in " The Wizard of OZ " ( a most versatile actress she was indeed ) . It's almost like she had a somewhat cameo role in this too ( IMPO anyway ) . Thanks xdayton for this interesting subject post .
