I am sorry to say I have not seen this movie yet but is it anything like the remake?

i have not seen it, but who are the ghosts in this movie? can someone tell me? and if there are pictures on the net, can you tell me where?

reply

The ghosts are very different from in the remake. In the remake, the ghosts are a lot more violent. In this one, the ghosts are just as evil, but they're not as threatening. It's a better story than the remake, however the special effects are extremely old-fashioned. Nothing compared to the new one. The old, although it was probably up to average horror movie standards at the time, seems more like a creepy family film by today's standards. regardless of it's flaws, it's very enjoyable.

One goof I noticed was the fly. The string was visable when we see it flying around.

I noticed two pretty major ones. First, when Ben is introduced by the kid to 'the witch', he seems to be seeing her for the first time, but later when Elaine talks about her employer's last months she talks about him working with Ben and herself as though she knows Ben. Second is that when the father introduces Ben to his paleontologist friend, he actually introduces the paleontologist as "Ben" by accident.

"Now let's have an intelligent conversation. I'll talk and you listen."
