After the triplets

were no longer babies they became full blooded brats. Especially in the last season. They never listened, they broke lamps and such, yet everyone just laughed and they were never even scolded. What were the writers thinking?

The easiest thing i have ever had to do was give my heart.

When I think of the triplets as boys, I always think about that episode where they destroy the grocery store with Steve. Eek!

That's the episode that got me thinking. Remember the lamps they broke at home and everyone just laughed about it? they were out of control brats and nothing was ever done about it. there was no discipline what so ever.

For my forthcoming book, Stanley Livingston said "God forbid if you had to do a scene with the triplets. You'd be there all day long as they scattered into the wind. You could never keep them in the shot, they would go about their business and you'd have to shoot it over and over again. Now I know why comedian W.C. Fields hated working with kids!", he laughed.

reply

Yes, when they were on their feet and there is a scene in which they enter the house, or a room, you can see the adult actors pointing to them which way they are to go, often with exasperated looks, indicating that must be ?th take on that little shot. And as they let it print when they can clearly be seen pointing and telling them what to do, we can imagine what the other tries must have been like.

The older (3rd set) triplets were actually very well behaved off camera. The 2nd set were brats off camera. The older boys, who you are referring to as brats, were told to do exactly what they did...act like brats. The younger set were difficult to work with.
