i love this topic, i didn't think of that, but of course they'll ruin it just like they ruin everything else these days, this won't be like the flintstones... i heard a few years ago that the creator of "family guy" wanted to remake this, now that's something, that would work, seth's cartoons look like cartoons used to and not the modern weird thing, i don't need to mention he's funny and he's spot on commenting on today's society, entertainment world you name it, i just watched a flintstones piece from the 1990s, and even at a thing from the 90s i thought "wow, that would not pass today", you get the jokes between fred wilma and so on, but today they would have to point with the entire hand and treat the audience like "this is the right way and you can't think for yourself.", i'm not english speaking so i don't know the saying, but it's like when you want to achieve something and you actually bring on the opposite effect than what you were aiming for because it's ticking a lot of people off, backlash might be the word, though i've noticed what really creates a fuss is when they don't even settle with remakes, but also having to go in and edit old entertainment that has been enjoyed by generations, hehe, yeah, that will sit right with people. reflecting on this new flintstones now i'm even more disappointed seth didn't get to remake this, he would have been the hope for an enjoyable remake. this will of course be: a corny cute weird looking animation strictly for children remake with only the flintstone name still in place, here we go again... but i could be wrong.
