Can anyone identify for me an episode wherein a guy goes under in quicksand and breathes through a reed until someone can save him?

That's the episode that I remember. Let me know if someone remembers it; I'd like to see it too. It freaked me out as a kid: imagine being trapped under water/quicksand and having to breath through a reed until somebody came back with a rope and went in after you. Kreepy.

When I started reading the IMDB info for this series, that was the first episode that I thought of. It's really the only one that I can remember anything about.
