Question?

There is a cartoon I remember seeing on this show as a kid, i think it was also in the "LOONEY LOONEY BUGS BUNNY MOVIE" It is a Jazz version of the three little pigs, where the wants to join their band, but is horrible. I remember the last line was "The Big Bad Wolf learned the golden rule, you have to get real hot, to play real cool." Any Help?

The cartoon you're referring to - I remember it well myself - would be "The Three Little Bops." The year it was produced escapes me though.

I just looked. It was produced in 1957. See http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0051078/

That's one of my favorites! I didn't (and still don't) understand the reference when one of the pigs looks at the camera and says "I wish my brother George was here." Can anyone help me out?

I'm also looking for the title of a cartoon in which a mouse magician and his sidekick, Second Banana, get involved in the Hatfield/McCoy feud and features a few appearances by Whistler's Mother (she even shoots at them towards the end), which isn't mentioned in the pop culture references section on Wikipedia.

_______
As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster.

It was a reference to piano legend, Liberace, who's older brother, George, would occasionally accompany him on his tv show. The narrator even compared the piano playing pig's performance to Liberace right before he said the line.

There is life outside your apartment!
There's a pigeon squashed on the street!
Ew...

Bugs Bunny also used the line in Hyde and Hare:

I was at the Haunted House in Disneyland and I'll often when I go through in the "doom" buggies, say "I wish my brother George was here" a la a scared Liberace, because in the Haunted Mansion hallway there is a candelabra floating. Can you imagine how Liberace (who died in 1987) would have felt! [bigrin]

The late Stan Freberg got screen credit, one of the first times someone else than Mel Blanc did--in fact, Mel didn't himself (but the cartoon itself is very different--credits before title, a la Harveytoons, Disney or very early Hanna-Barbera shorts, Shorty (pun) Rogers music since, as its OScar winning director Friz Freleng told Leonard Maltin (1980), "Carl Stalling didn't understand it", and no "That's all folks" ending.)...after many years (just like anyone else besides Mel Blanc due to his contract deal in lieu of extra pay) of being uncredited..

Freberg, of course was:
-Not only one of the Goofy Gophers but the LEAD, opposite Mel Blanc
-Either Hubie or Bertie the Mice, opoosite Mel Blanc, depending on the cartoon
-Grover Groundhog from "One Meat Brawl"(1947, with Porky and the Barnyard Dawg from the Leghorn shorts)
-Post "Bugs/3 Bears" Junyer Bear
-Elmo the Hick Mouse in "A Hiuck, A Slick, and a Chick" (1948)
-The Gambling Bug from "Early to Bet"(1951)
-Pete Puma from "Rabbit's Kin" (1952)
and many more and the finally credited Three Little Bops, and those were just some of his WB roles (by that time, Freberg was well known enough..)
