I was just thinking of different episodes that I would like to have seen on the Andy Griffith Show. The haunted house episode was a lot of fun, but I would also have liked to have seen another episode with a Halloween theme.

Does anyone else have an episode in mind that they wish would have made?

One where Goober and Gomer square off for the love of a woman. Only to have her leave them for an unlikely candidate such as Ernest T. Bass, Otis, or Floyd the barber.

That would have made for a very funny episode. I can see them both battling to win Lydia Crosswaithes affection.
