Dubbing

Has anyone noticed how one of the children sounds just like Larry Mondello of Leave it to Beaver? It's made right around that time too - I wonder if it's him:)

I noticed that the voice sounded very familiar, too. I wish they'd have listed who did the dubbing as well.

Anyone notice that the dubbed voice of the police chief was the same voice as Inspector Detector from Speed Racer?
I remember this movie as a kid being shown on a saturday afternoon kids movie show called SuperHost.I watched it everytime it was on.My dad hated it even more after I made him watch the MSTie version.

I think one of the voices dubbing this film was Peter Fernandez, who dubbed American releases of a lot of foreign films and cartoons. He also wrote the screenplay for the early Radley Metzger film THE ALLEY CATS (and also dubbed the leading man).

Yes! It does sound like Larry Mondello. I was trying to figure out who it sounded like and that was it. There's even a bunch of "aw, Wally"s in there too. Too bad there aren't any credits for dubbing.

And one the chicken men in the car w/ the x-radar sounds like Nick Adams.

reply

The dubbing is terrible, has the characters saying contradictory things.

The aliens don't look anything like chickens.
