Anyone who has seen this MUST have noticed the building with a giant Hitler figure on its side....wtf? This site says Prince Of Space was filmed in 1959, obviously long after WW2. So at that time did Japan still memorilize Hitler in public like that!? Or was that some weird thing the director wanted to toss in there?
BTW the MST3K episode of this film is my fav haha....
I thought the Hitler building was in Invasion of the Neptune men.

I was watching the MST3K version which must have both movies combined or something...but still, my question is this is a late 50s film, why the hell is Hitler being memorialized on a public building!?

It was not WWII bombing footage. All the special effects were shot for this film or another Toei film called THE FINAL WAR (1960), which is where the Hitler shot came from. And to explain the Hitler building, it's a giant ad for a film adaptation of Mein Kampf that was released at the time of filming.
