I view this outstanding Western,whenever I feel the urge due to Mr.Clint Walker,a great American actor,who was sabotaged during his career enroute to superstardom.I do know that when he was on top, America and it's youth were the better for it.
Met him in Kanab,Utah recently he and his wife Susan are God's couple,down to earth.
Warren Oates,Claude Akins are you kidding me?Two of the finest character actors in all of show business..quite a contribution to this epic Western.
John Russell,another man's man who, after this performance and "Lawman."was also short circuited.
In 2012 the male actors are "girlie boys" compared to Clint,John and the real
actors of the Lee Marvin era.
This crackerjack Western receives a 10 from yours truly.
