How on earth can one watch this?

You can easily order it through Amazon, or, depending on where you live, through a DVD store that takes orders on foreign DVDs. It's not even expensive, and the DVD couldn't be better in terms of image and sound. It has obviously gone through a fabulous remasterization job. Also, the English subtitles are fine. If you "love Liv Ullmann," it's definitely worth it. This was her second film, the first in which she has a character to play (her first job was a walk on) and she's wonderful in it.
