lost something at the end

I thought the movie was ok,but the end left a little bit to be desired.I mean it shows ollies wife come back to life after the dr. puts the tingler back and him standing there utterly terrified and then that was it.I think all in all the movie lost something in the end.

i think the tingler made her come back to life or something
or its just unexplanable, just an over the top ending just because. vincent price is jsut incredible though.

that he is :)

Speaking as a fan, the ending isn't any more ridiculous than the rest of the film is.

That's funny. That plane's dusting crops where there ain't no crops.

To be honest, this is one of Price's more ridiculous films, but then I guess the whole premise works better as a theatre/cinema experience, and would perhaps of appealed more as a 'gimmick' at the time of it's original release.

You are so right.

YES that's what I was thinking too! the very end when the wife got up and looked at Ollie, was...um, im not sure what to make of that. it didn't make any sense. how could a tingle bring someone back to life? I don't know...but yes, I guess the movie was just being freaky for freaky's sake. maybe she wasn't really alive, maybe the tingle just made a muscle spasm happen. either way it was creepy!

Realism, Remakes and Unnecessary Sequels are ruining movies!

Yes, i was puzzled how The Tingler was supposed to bring her back to life..
But thinking about it (and yes, I know 'thinking about' such a film is a pointless exercise)
The tingler was back against the spine of a dead person, and having no fear to feed on, would start to shhink and die. That would cause the spine to tighten up.. making the (still decidedly dead) body to spasm, giving the impression of rising from the dead...

. . . and what caused the door and window to close by themselves at that moment? (We know that Ollie had previously rigged them as part of his plan to scare his wife to death.)

And whatever happened to his wife. Last I heard, she packed her things and moved out after trying to kill Vincent, right? At first I thought her and the theater owner were going to run away together but I guess not...

LOL "Why does the back door slam when I come in the front door?"
