Saw a film when I was very young. The film was about mountain climbing and I'm pretty sure it involved the Alps. I remember a specific scene where some molting metal spilled onto a table and a man accidentally set his hand in it. Not sure if this is the film. Anyone know the film I'm referring to?

Johnny Tremain is the only one I can think of where a young man spills molten lead on his hand. It takes place in colonial America though.
