What an underrated great film.
I just saw this today, and hadn't heard anything about it. Well I had seen Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1931) and loved it, so I was looking forward to see this one. But it seems like no one has seen this? about 300 voters for this movie, and no one has started a topic here. Maybe people who like this are older or don't use much internet (or IMDb). But anyways.. Really a great piece. There's no need to make a "remake" if you have nothing new to say, but this movie is a good example about making a new story. If you're thinking about watching this, get up, and go get it. I won't start reviewing this film, people just have to see it :P
This actually was the first film I've seen from Jean-Renoir and I'm waiting to see more. And the music was great! 9/10.
