Unforgettable Music!!!!!!

I don't know why but one day I walked into a movie rental store in 1992 and this movie was on display. I rented the movie and while watching it that evening,I taped it in VHS format. I've watched it about fifty times since. I'm now closer to age 83 than I am to age 82. I have never forgotten that hauntingly beautiful music(like Laura in 1947). The last time I watched a movie in a movie theater was in Sept.1976 so you see, I'm definitely NOT a movie goer.In 1975 I watched and recorded "It's a Wonderful Life". I neve figured out why it took the movie goers so long to catch on to this GEM.
Every year my friend and I spend at least two months in Florida and their radio broadcast in the Tampa area is aimed at the "Snowbirds". This means that at least once a week the "Theme From a Summer Place" can be heard. I also have an LP(Long-Playing Recording) by a then popular singing group called "The Lettermen" which, of course includes "Summer Place", presented to me by my daughters, fathers day,1978. I understand that "Vinyl" is making a comeback.
Thank the Lord for the invention of the VCR.

I like the main theme. I find that the numerous pop versions of the tune at the time, such as the one by the Percy Faith Orchestra, felt lighter than the version that was actually used in the movie's opening.
