How can this be made into a movie?

I haven't seen this, but- The Sound and the Fury has got to be the most un-filmable book of all time! I don't see how you could make it into a movie? Has anyone seen it? Is it any good?

Simple, they j8ust omitted the first half of the book, the Benjy and Quentin (male) sections.

John Grisham was on TCM to introduce their latest showing and he said the book was incomprehensible as well as unfilmable and the movie was a still not entirely comprehensible attempt to simplify it.
