Check out Annette and the other girl going out on a date all dressed up but with NO MAKEUP, not even lipstick. I can just see Uncle Walt standing at the door with a handkerchief saying "Not another step, young lady, till you wipe that off!"

They probably had a very little bit... which is a lot better than a whole lot.
Besides, they were still cute.
