Anyone hear the Misfits song based on this movie?

It's really simple. It repeats all the names of the characters and some tidbits from the movie. Kinda corny, but fun nonetheless.

Awesome song, awesome band.

"Now no more shenanigans, no more tomfoolery, no more ballyhoo"

I was just listening to the song, prompting me to come on here. I was curious if anyone would have written about it on the board. Glad to see you did. That song is awesome, as are pretty much all of their songs.

wow, that's deep.

They didnt matter in the larger realm ...but they still mattered. Thats what struck me as pathetic.

I love the song and just came here out of curiosity because of it.

I guess great minds think alike. Reason I came. Great song. Great band.

Drool, drool, drool, drool, drool, drool my payola

Yes! I love the song too.

I'm curious why they chose to feature Helene Delambre so prominently in the song, when she doesnt appear at all in the film (only mentioned at the beginning during her funeral).

here are the lyrics:

Return of the fly
Return of the fly
With Vincent Price
Yeah, return of the fly

Helen Delambre

Return of the fly
You guinea pig
Human hands and feet
Yeah, you guinea pig

Helen Delambre

Cecile, Cecile
Cecile, Cecile

The return of the fly
With Vincent Price
You guinea pig
Yeah, return of the fly

Return of the fly
With Vincent Price
You guinea pig
Yeah, return of the fly

I saw The Fly, heard the Misfits song, loved it, then looked up Return of the Fly cause of the song, here I am.
I wonder if the sequel is better than the original...(movie, that is)

reply

Same reason why I'm here.

I bought Static Age on vinyl the other day and love every single track. Return of the Fly is no exception; it's fairly catchy with it's simple lyrics and great bass.

I found a YouTube Fan-video of this song with clips from both first and second " Fly Movies " ( buzz buzz ! ) . Check it out ! Thanks StrangelovePHD for your subject post .
