can anyone tell me the theme tune (with the trumpet)was it Il silencio,my hubands driving me nuts

By the "theme tune," I assume you mean the main title theme? Don't recall any trumpets in it. The main title theme is oriental in nature, in keeping with the Korean setting of the film.
The only trumpets I remember hearing (besides their possible occasional use as part of the soundtrack music? Maybe this is what you're referring to) were the bugles the Chinese used prior to their "human wave" attacks.
