events caught up to movie

This is my first time posting, but I just saw this movie on TCM and it seems that the events of 1959 caught up and surpassed the script. I won't give away any secrets, but it seems that the good guys/bad guys were reversed in the middle of the development. If you watch the film you can see how certain key dialouge seems to have changed between Castro and Bautista. It's funny to see the Castro police as good guys, which a few months earlier it would have been Bautista's police. It is an enjoyable film, and it's interesting from a fifty year plus hind sight to see how attitudes have changed.
