Studio fog gave me laryngitis

When I was a drama student at the Guildhall School in London (1959-62) I had the opportunity of going down to Walton-on-Thames for an appearance as an Extra in the movie. I had to walk along a foggy London Street with a young lady on my arm. I was also able to watch Gregory Ratoff directing Morley in a street scene involving a newspaper boy. They were trying to spice up the scene without changing the rating of the movie. At the end of the day's work I had lost my voice and could not speak for several days after that. I have related this incident in more detail in my Autobiography HEAVEN CAN HELP, published by Authorhouse.com (US) I have now lived in California since 1980 and am a US citizen. I agree that this was a low budget production and the leading actors did not seem right for the parts. Many of the Guildhall students did walk-ons in the rival movie "The Trials of Oscar Wilde" which starred Peter Finch and was being shot at the same time! I wish that I had appeared briefly in that movie rather than the Morley version. Anyway it was an interesting experience in my life! BRIAN EDWARD HURST formerly of Huntingdon, England. ...and your book gives people a headache! If every failed actor comes on IMDB promoting their looney para-psychology books these forums will be filled to the brim...with nonsense....!

To paraphrase: "And then the fog got me; I got laryngitis! Ain't nobody got time for that!"

Sweet Brown is clearly a student of your work.
Bravo, sir.
