haha, I was thinking the same thing. Generally, I'm not very fond of children at all, but that kid was really cool.
And no one ever says it back. I love this film.
shareOzu's kids are always incredible. How he could get those performances is a wonder. He must've truly understood kids, to begin with.
shareI'm really not a kid person but I have to admit the little boy was adorable. He was so believable too. All of the kids were. They gave really good performances. I was never once reminded that the kids in the movie are just actors and not real ordinary kids. They were just perfect.
