I saw some attractive women (my opinion) in this film:
"Kitty" - Carmen De Lavallade (light-skinned women at the jazz club)
"Ruth Ingram" - Kim Hamilton (Johnny's estranged wife)
Jazz club bartender - Cicely Tyson (uncredited)
Along with the music, the acting and the locales of old New York City - Very nice!
Some very attractive women. Just saw this yesterday. Great movie.

What a great film. Very late in the noir genre, but then that's a plus it capitalizes on: so grim and gritty, yet so cool and, well, kind of slick. Definitely a "comfort food" movie for me.
Gloria Grahame was breathtaking in the shot where her dress (or robe or whatever it was) gets pulled open in front. Yowza!
