In the credits for Tommy Cooke, it says his character name is "Gene Fennell", but that name is not referenced anywhere in the movie. They refer to him throughout the film as "Gary". Just wondering where the "Gene Fennell" name was sourced from. In the copy I have, there is no end credit sequence showing actors and characters matched up.
shareI just submitted two corrections and one deletion to the goofs page because in two goofs a poster twice referred to Gary as "Gene", and in the outright error he claimed that, when the others yell at him to stay out of the sun, it was a goof because they call him "Gary" instead of "Gene". I can only assume this person may have picked up on the cast error you cited, even though it's pretty ridiculous to believe that it was a mistake every time he was called Gary in the actual movie. But as of this date the IMDb cast list correctly refers to Tommy Cook's character as Gary.
