For "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" fans, this is Spike's trigger song.

*** The trouble with reality is there is no background music. ***

What a pretty song. I'm teaching myself piano, and I think I can learn that one.

I play it on the bowed psaltery. I think it's such a pretty but very sad song however it's performed.

When I heard it in this film numerous times then saw that it was unidentified, I had to put a name on it. I figured there might be people thinking, "Where have I heard that before?" I've even heard it used in a commercial; I don't recall what it was for, but I thought the choice of song was wrong for it.

Good luck on the piano=}

I love the fact that, when he keeps getting stuck after the first two phrases, the part he can't remember (which Buckenham whistles at him when he surprises him in the house) has the lyrics "Oh, don't deceive me."

Thank you, fellow Canadian? It was driving me crazy trying to figure out where I knew that song from. Friendly Giant was a Canadian children's show from long ago.

Just watching this movie again after many years and knew I had heard it somewhere before in a show/movie and knew it was part of some kind of killer/mental case etc.

Can't believe I had not realized it was Buffy. It's one of my favourite 90's series lol. Time for another re-watch I think :)
