What Did Curridius and Mark Antony Do?

It's so urgent that Curridius speak to Mark Antony that he travels all the way from Rome. But after he arrives -- at night -- he says but a few words and then there is a fade out. It's not until the next morning that the two men finally get around to an in depth conversation as why Curridius made the trip. What kept them so busy the night Curridius arrived that couldn't have this important talk immediately?
