'Midnight in Moscow'??

The lovely theme score sure sounded like "Midnight in Moscow," which became a top 40 hit a year or two after the movie in a dixieland version.

Is it the same music?

No, it's not "Midnight in Moscow" a.k.a. Moscovnye Veychera or Moscow Nights. They sound a lot alike, but aren't the same tune, or lyrics.

As near as I can make out, the lyrics speak of the sounds of spring, under a "lightless" moon, that if you hear these sounds, your soul will remain forever alone. That's a very rough translation. So I'm guessing that this tune would be called "Spring Sound" or "Vesni Zvuk".

I'm searching for it on the web and iTunes, but as of now, to no avail. Any help from native speakers of Russian, or students of Russian music would be much appreciated.

A.K.
