Great Family Fare


Although there are some mature references in the battle of the sexes, there is nothing particularly offensive or obtrusive for young minds.

Pat Boone is wholesome enough and even likable as a young Scot. Wonderful humour pervades throughout. Lots of variety and good pacing;the pix is never static.

Music is stunning by Mr Herrmann, one of the all-time great movie composers.

Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico is a gorgeous setting for the exploration beneath the surface of the globe(was there in'81).

Stirring adventure, fine acting, great tale all serve to recommend this flicker as a welcome addition to any family's film library. It is a classic and scores quite high on the Richter scale !
