Where was it filmed?

On and adjacent to a California beach, the rest on the studio lot. Exact locales unknown, but clearly not "on location" in the South Pacific. Even the island shown out the plane window doesn't match the "island" they land on, as there's clearly no beach, flatland or jungle on the real island seen in the air shot.
