Anyone else dislike Steve?

I liked him okay. He's my least favorite character in the movie.

Thirty seconds after proposing to her he starts ordering her around and trying to run her life. Years later he spends almost every day and evening one summer playing and going out with her daughter, yet is clueless that she has fallen in love with him. He's insufferably pompous and stiff. Other than that, he's a cool guy.

I didnt care for him either.. From the very start he wanted to hold Lora down..He never supported her dreams.
