Right at the end of the credits "Columbia Broadcasting System" was flashed. Does anybody know anything about this?

CBS had a hand in producing this film. As far as I know they never broadcast it over the network unless some of their owned and operated stations (like WCBS for example) did so in their local areas.

I don't believe they made "television movies" until well into the 1960's, at least.
