Another good film descendant of Huston's brilliant 1950 noir masterwork

This is another good film born from John Huston's landmark noir masterwork "The Asphalt Jungle". This one done 9 years later follows with the same focus which is more on the people of the crime than the crime itself. A superb "serious lead debut" by McQueen who demonstrates even in this early role his extraordinary screen presence.
