Still wondering


I'm still wondering why this film hasn't made the Bottom 100 list.

I have dual personality, and so do I.

Maybe because there are one hundred movies (or more) that are way worse than this one.

Agreed. I think there are easily 100 50's-giant-monster-movies worse than this one. As laughable as the special effects are, they attempt to explain the monster with a reasonable concept and the characters are surprisingly fleshed out. Furthermore, there is conflict beyond the monster killing people (the missing kid's father and his opinion of the hot-rodders) that leads to a genuine character arc. These are pretty basic, taken for granted things in most films, but when you compare this to some of the other movies on the bottom 100 missing all these elements you'll realize it's not that inept at all.



Do these blow into funny shapes at all?
-No, unless round is funny.
