How did you interpret the young drunk`? Maybe the intolerance of the out cast of the communist society? Maybe to show the only honest man in the film.



Why everything made in Eastern Block have to be interpreted as a struggle against communist system? That's damn stupid and makes me really angry. These guys say such nonsence even about Tarkovsky!

And if you want to interpret this short - it's against capitalism, you know. Remember, when woman paints the floor and that pair of well-dressed working-class oppressors points that there is dust on the table... That clearly shows Polanski's views on capitalism. Yeah.
