To Alfred Hitchcock!

My family loves this movie. We adore the some of the funny lines. We tend to like to quote lines from movies for any situation. Well we got a lot from this movie. Our favorites that keep popping up in our conversations...

The toast to Alfred Hitchcock...and his appreciation for the Gazebo.

Giving to "Hungarian relief", "I 'll sue, so help me, I'll sue!"

and "what did you expect a 200 year dry spell?"

Please watch this movie if you are a classic comedy buff...You will love it.

I realize this post is quite old- but I wanted to 'chime in' here that my family also love the many funny, quirky and memorable lines in this film. I personally could watch it repeatedly and laugh each time- and it's simply timeless where the laughs are concerned. Our fave lines from The Gazebo?

We've lost camera one?!

Oh- I'll sue that store!

Put him on Operator... please?

For nineteen-hundred dollars we ought to get in some pretty good dallying.

This rain ain't going to do this here gayzbo no good at 'tall, at 'tall!

I agree- this movie is simply one of the best and Reynolds & Ford worked so well on screen together they made the movie a pleasure and a treat to watch!

The Hitchcock quip was made to Robert Ellenstein, who had just played one of the heavies in "North By Northwest," released about six months before this film.
