Hi,

According to Amazon.co.uk there will be a region 2 DVD release of The Five Pennies on 4th December 2005, so get it on your Christmas list!
I've just ordered the CD from Amazon and can't wait to hear all the songs again: I loved them so much as a child

Thanks for the info in the DVD release, I Have just returned to NZ from a trip to the States and could not beleive I could not purchase it. Was given the CD for a gift though and have played it ever since. Great stuff.

Hi Lucy,

You have just made my day. I have been trying to find The Five Pennies on video for many years but found only American regions available. To know it will be released on DVD is just fantastic. It has been my favourite film since I was a little girl. Thank you so much.

OK I don't know the reasons behind it but the 2005 release didn't happen. If you still want to believe Amazon, they claim it will be released in October 2006 - wait and see!

And if you're still waiting for the region 2 DVD release, Amazon.co.uk now have it for pre-order at £11.99, due for release on 30th September 2007. Worth the wait no doubt!

Anyone know if this is available in America? I would *so* love to have a copy! I've recently been watching the songs on YouTube and would love the chance to watch one of my favorite movies again.
