Hi there,
"Don´t Give Up The Ship" has just been released here in Berlin, Germany.
Release date was May 08, 2009.
It comes both in the english and german langanges.
It is in the region 2 format and retails for 9.99 euros.
You can get it from Amazon.de under the title "alle Mann von deck"
The dvd paper sleeve can be reversed. The inside cover has the original english ad poster art on one half and german info on the other.

Update... I am currently watching it.
As the film starts, oh so briefly you see the 20th Century Fox logo.
So maybe in Germany they released it and not Paramount.
The title credits are only in german.
There are no subtitles.
The print quality is that of a good quality public domain film.
But what I have seen so far it is classic Jerry in his prime.
Too bad it is not an offical studio release...
