As much as I love...

...Kirk Douglas and Burt Lancaster... Olivier steals the show (as he often does). He is hilarious as the snooty yet practical Burgoyne.

This is an odd movie in its style. Part comedy, but serious and dark. I suppose the fact that it was a stage play and Hollywood in those years didn't stray to far from "theatrics", it is a strange yet enjoyable movie.
