The OP meant that a lot of people think that 'diddly aye' representations of Ireland on screen is offensive to Irish people. He's merely pointing out he's not one of them and nor am I! Smart mouth!!

What "clarification" did I need?
The OP liked the movie even though it included Leprechauns.
I saw NO reference to the

'diddly aye' representations of Ireland
that you mention. But being "facetious" as you say. I don't like putting my ideas into another posters thread.

FYI: I am a Russian/German I've had my share of bad stereotypes.
